DATES:
Letters of Intent are due on July 11, 2025
Proposals are due on September 26, 2025
The RID program will support:
Collaborative Seed Research Grants:
The purpose of these grants is to seed collaborative projects that build the state R&D capacity around opportunities in the new Space Value Chain that aligns with NASA Mission Directorates and NASA Field Centers, and the Maine Spaceport Complex.
Workshop Grants:
Topical workshops provide a unique opportunity for Affiliates’ researchers to discuss and form collaborations for training and proposal development purposes.
Travel Grants:
Early-career and mid-career faculty who are engaged in research re-alignment will be given priority for travel grants. Travel grants will be awarded to cover costs for Affiliates’ faculty to travel to NASA Centers and in some instances to visit businesses involved in NASA missions.
