The 2014 Maine Aerospace Workforce Development Program is now closed.
We are pleased to announce that our Maine Aerospace Workforce Development Program (NASA Internship program) is now open!
The purpose of MSGC’s Workforce Development program is to provide Maine undergraduate students with a 10-week research opportunity at a NASA Field Center working within its priority areas. With this program support, students will actively participate in a viable research project at a NASA Field Center in areas of interest to NASA, for a 10-week period
For a student to be eligible for a Workforce Development award, students must meet these criteria.
Be a US citizen
Be classified a rising sophomore, junior, or senior after the spring of 2014,
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 Scale,
Be enrolled full time in an accredited Maine Academic Institution,
Be pursuing a career in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields, K-12 teaching of science, or in the management of science with a strong science background,
Demonstrate strong extracurricular interest in one of the above careers or disciplines (e.g., science, math, engineering fairs, clubs or awards; tutoring/mentoring; internships, etc.)
